Hello there! So here's a very much delayed post on my trip to Prague in
december last year. It was probably one of the most memorable trips for me,
as it was a family trip that happened after much talk and after many many
years. The architectural beauty of the city, the town square, christmas
markets, the weather, gloriously good & affordable food and
also the people we met, made it pretty much the best trip i've ever had.
Not going to bore you with all the talk so here's a visual feast of Prague.
On Film
You wouldn't have guessed! Behind the house of a family friend,
is this, a forest! Where they would go hiking, feed wild animals and
also pick wild mushrooms from. The photos don't justify the true beauty of the forest,
but it was definitely a place that looked like it was part of a movie scene.
(the weather was too cold that my camera "froze" thus the lack of pictures too)
Home cooked lunch at Ivana's place with the family!
En route towards the Prague castle. The upward climb to the top!
The Gingerbread museum, where even lamps were made out of gingerbread!
One of the best gingerbread i've ever had hands down. And fret not if you're tired,
because not only is the museum a place for you to view and purchase gingerbread cookies,
you can even have some snacks and tea right in the shop itself, which boasts a cozy section
for visitors to sip and enjoy these handmade delicious treats.
The view of Prague from the top.
The Golden Lane: An ancient street lined by 11 historic houses, which forms
part of the Prague Castle complex.
Then off to ever so popular and iconic Charles bridge!
