thedufstore on etsy

So here it is, something I have been thinking and working on for a
long time now that I've finally got down to doing...

https://www.etsy.com/sg-en/shop/thedufstore

Selling illustration prints and stickers of dogs and animals, and diy
accessories such as jewelry and pouches which are all created and crafted with love,
thedufstore is my new brainchild that combines everything I love into one.
It's still relatively new and raw but I would really appreciate the support
and feedback to whoever is reading this space!

And if you've got the time, do like the
or follow thedufstore on instagram @THEDUFSTORE

Much love and thanks, D

Praha 2013 - Part 002

Probably one of my favorite places or parks ever. Petřín is a hill in the center of Prague,
Czech Republic that is some 130m above the bank of Vltava River. It is a hill,
almost entirely covered with parks and an uphill climb will bring you to the
Petrin Hill and observation tower.

Did I mention that the one thing I really love about Prague and Europe is the
fact that owners are allowed to bring their dogs almost everywhere, in malls,
public transport and even in parks like these. Where they are allowed to run freely,
off leash! *Duffy would love it here!

The vast surroundings and sights of Petrin!

Hey there cutie!

Petrin Hill & Observation tower

At a cafe on top of the hill where the Petrin Observation Tower is located,
stop to take a breather and enjoy some light snacks and a hot cuppa or head up
to the observation tower. Featured below is their hot chocolate (thickest and
most chocolaty drink ever) and carrot cake! yum yum!

After a short break, it's the steep walk down the hill.

Definitely a place with some of the nicest scenery and greenery around,
Petrin is a place that is ideal to have a good stroll around, see the
sights of Prague from above, take your dog out for a walk/hike
and take tons of photos at! Definitely a place not to miss!

experimenting

Getting down to experimenting and getting crafty. Been so drained from
hectic work weeks that I've not been able to update this space and do much.
Can't wait to get started on things when my break comes.
Would do up the next prague post soon!

Praha 2013 - Part 001

Hello there! So here's a very much delayed post on my trip to Prague in
december last year. It was probably one of the most memorable trips for me,
as it was a family trip that happened after much talk and after many many
years. The architectural beauty of the city, the town square, christmas
markets, the weather, gloriously good & affordable food and
also the people we met, made it pretty much the best trip i've ever had.
Not going to bore you with all the talk so here's a visual feast of Prague.

On Film

You wouldn't have guessed! Behind the house of a family friend,
is this, a forest! Where they would go hiking, feed wild animals and
also pick wild mushrooms from. The photos don't justify the true beauty of the forest,
but it was definitely a place that looked like it was part of a movie scene.
(the weather was too cold that my camera "froze" thus the lack of pictures too)

Home cooked lunch at Ivana's place with the family!

En route towards the Prague castle. The upward climb to the top!

The Gingerbread museum, where even lamps were made out of gingerbread!
One of the best gingerbread i've ever had hands down. And fret not if you're tired,
because not only is the museum a place for you to view and purchase gingerbread cookies,
you can even have some snacks and tea right in the shop itself, which boasts a cozy section
for visitors to sip and enjoy these handmade delicious treats.

The view of Prague from the top.

The Golden Lane: An ancient street lined by 11 historic houses, which forms
part of the Prague Castle complex.

Then off to ever so popular and iconic Charles bridge!

Short post of visuals of Prague #001 featuring:
House visit to Ivana's, Prague Castle, Golden Lane, Charles Bridge

Keep your eyes peeled for the next post Prague #002!
