Finally an update on this space of mine. Two lookbooks which I helped to
style and direct, thoroughly enjoyed shooting these series for Izels (http://izels.com)

DIY: Animal Jewelry Holder

Decided to get creative and do another small yet very simple diy project!
Inspired by the many white animal figurines i see both on the net and
also in stores, here's what i did to one of my ceramic figurines
I had lying around at home.

What you'll need:

1. A Figurine ( old, new, something left on your shelves collecting
dust which needs a new look!)
2. White acrylic paint and a paint brush and palette

Squeeze and mix an ample amount of paint and water, get painting!
* make sure paint is thick so it covers the colors and corners of your figurine.

Remember to paint an even layer over and allow it to dry.
Paint two to three coats of paint and allow to dry under the sun or
overnight to ensure each layer is totally dry.

That simple and here you've got yourself a jewelry holder for
your bracelets or even...

a room accessory to go with those potted plants!

Note: also try different colors or neon colors

A small project that is simple and pretty much effortless that anyone
could do, so it's time to give those dust collecting animal figures an
updated look and a fresh coat of paint!

GOODEYEDEER mall invasion exhibition

After much waiting it's finally here, the Goodeyedeer t-shirt competition that was held back in 2010 had their first ever exhibition held at the arts house, showcasing all the works of the winners of the t-shirt competition that had to do with none other than the little red dot, Singapore.

The program lined up for the event encompassed a runway show of the t-shirt design donned by mature models with live looping performance by Randolf Arriola, prize presentation and also the sale of the designs, where part of the proceeds go to The Business Times Budding Artist Fund to help support the new young creative talents out there.

Framed up, photo of silhouettes at the exhibition

My design: silhouettes on model Naaim

The finale walk by the models.

Prize presentation by G.O.H, Janice Koh

Creative and very Singaporean packaging by GED.

Silhouettes.

It was overall a really fun, fresh and exciting experience being a part of this whole competition and getting to know and also meet the people who were a part of or the ones behind the GED community. Thanks for such a great time and for all the efforts put in to make this happen!
